Fair Food Finder

If you are like us, one of the reasons for going to the Great Minnesota Get-Together and other county fairs is for the FOOD. If you are out and about and see a State Fair Food Vendor open for business, post it here. **Disclaimer** with the popularity of this concept, people have been posting other food vendors as well, which may not be official state fair food vendors. Support those affected by fair cancellations. Please invite your friends to join! This group was not created by, is not managed by, and is not affiliated with the Minnesota State Fair or the Minnesota State Agricultural Society. *PLEASE only post the FOOD vendors you find, their location, and hours/days of operation. We will decline any post that does not meet these criteria* *We will add vendors to our map who have more permanent locations. Vendor MAP link

Someone should start a scavenger hunt with all of these @mnstatefair food stands over the metro and the outskirts. I’d be game! There is a group on Facebook (Minnesota State Fair Food Finder) that is updated very often by the fans + vendors, including a growing google map of all the locations. I’ve always been a huge fan of @thedonutfamily in the midway of the fair. So, I came out to Eden Prairie today to give them some love and get my fix. I did as promised and pretty much ordered the whole menu. All Beef Corn Dogs + @ellsworthcreamery Cheese Curds + Mini Donuts + Lemonade. I didn’t get cotton candy nor iced coffee. I wish they offered their sundae toppings on the buckets like they do at the fair. Either way, I’m good! They will continue to be at the location I checked in above as well as at 2275 McKnight Rd. N. Wed-Sun 10am-6pm. Definitely go check them out and tip. #corndog #minidonuts #cheesecurds #lemonade #takeout #parkinglotpimpin #fairfood #mnstatefair #togo #curbside #onastick #phatphood #delishious #minneapolisfoodie #inspirator #supportlocal #eatinglocal #onlyinmn #mnstandup #eatlocal #supportsmallbusinessowners #thedonutfamily #edenprairie #friedfood #outsidethefair #minnesotastatefairfoodfinder #deepfried #foodbeast #grub #yougottaeatthis

The Best of Northeast – Minneapolis, MN

The Best of Northeast – Minneapolis, MN

Sharing stories in and around the Northeast Minneapolis community. No corner of our community is free from racial injustices. We are facing uncomfortable truths and want to face them head on together to work for change.

We also see that through our community’s losses, beauty is blossoming in the form of mural art and togetherness and the visual call to action is clear.

Here’s what @preserveminneapolis is doing: As a way of standing in solidarity and preserving George Floyd’s memory, we are creating a public online exhibition of this outpouring of street art across the city of Minneapolis.

We will layer it on our virtual map of historic Minneapolis sites.
We want this to be a way to preserve and share these signs of community solidarity with those within and beyond our city and help us all better understand how we relate to each other.
Thank you @preserveminneapolis for keeping the memory of George Floyd alive.Tag @northeastminneapolis and @preserveminneapolis in any murals across Mpls.

Here's where we need your help: Send a picture of a work of street art from your neighborhood + the artist (if you know it) and address where it is located. Email the photos to: rcoffman@preserveminneapolis.org We want all corners of the Twin Cities represented. If we're going to create change, we want it to involve everyone. As photos come in, we will also feature images and histories of places on our platforms. WE SEE YOU. WE HEAR YOU. WE WILL WORK FOR CHANGE. THANK YOU FOR PARTNERING WITH US IN THIS PROJECT. – @preserveminneapolis If you know any of the artists featured in this post, please tag them below. ______________________________________ Thank you @preserveminneapolis for keeping the memory of George Floyd alive.
