The PortLand Malt Shoppe is housed in an old gas station that was built in 1921. In 1989, it became the PortLand Malt Shoppe, and it’s been serving up great treats ever since.
The menu is full of great choices. There are more than a dozen different ice cream flavors, from typical chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry, to moose tracks, strawberry cheesecake, or cookies and cream. You can get your scoop in a cake cone…
If an ice cream cone isn’t your thing, try a tasty sundae. You can get them topped with anything from hot fudge and caramel to butterscotch, marshmallow, or even fruits such as raspberry or blackberry.
And of course, you can’t go wrong with a malt at the PortLand Malt Shoppe. The flavors are the same as the sundae toppings but also include cherry, banana, peanut butter, and coffee.
No matter what you order, you’ll love the sweet, cool treats that you’ll find at the charming PortLand Malt Shoppe – especially with an amazing view of Lake Superior before you!
