Join us for Into The Studio Sustainable Style : A Fashion Revolution, a vibrant runway show of the latest collections from 8 MN designers. Each collection utilizes different aspects of the slow fashion movement: from using natural, organic, and recycled materials to featuring ethical and fair-trade production processes. Meet the designers who will share insights into their design process and the inspiration behind their sustainable practices. Into The Studio is part of the larger Fashion Revolution Week, which is a global movement dedicated to raising awareness about the true cost of fashion and promoting more sustainable and ethical fashion practices. Shop the marketplace showcasing Native Artisans & natural ingredients beauty products, originally designed fashion, jewelry & accessories.
Featuring:
Golga Oscar, Kasigluk Elders Traditional Council – Yup’ik Nation. Carrying on the traditions of his people, Golga is creating apparel that is more than just a fashion statement, it’s “a way of life.”
Garret Henry, Anishinaabe from Roseau River 1st Nation, Manitoba, Canada will be showcasing a new Native couture collection as an expansion of his traditional designs with a contemporary flare on Native dance outfits.
Delina White of IamAnishinaabe, MN Chippewa Tribe, Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe will be introducing the Deer River High School ISD 317, Anishinaabe Education Leadership Group, Anishinaabe Giikinooamaadi’wigamigoong, and their fashion designs as an advanced guided project sponsored by the Blandin Foundation.

Keiona Cook of Qe’Bella Couture presents Luxe Streetwear: The Futuristic Perspective of Candyland that celebrates all ages. This fashion show fundraiser for Lovely’s Sewing & Arts Collective (LSAC) celebrates community and covers youth scholarships for learning the art of sewing, fashion design and entrepreneurship. LSAC is located in the Northloop in the Rise Bagel building. Additionally, this show features couture and custom streetwear designers, a high school designer, print streetwear designers, and the LSAC youth showcasing their skills through different art forms. Come enjoy a moment in time with local fashion and jewelry designers for an event not to miss!
