Fireworks
Eagan’s fantastic fireworks tradition continues as one of the largest displays in the region will be illuminating the skies beginning at dusk on July 4. Higher altitude shells will be used this year allowing for the fireworks to be viewed from further away. For additional details and an optimal viewing map, please click here!
Red Cross Blood Drive
Funfest is proud to be partnering with the American Red Cross on a blood drive which will be conducted on July 3 at Cub Foods (Lexington & Diffley) from 10 am – 4 pm and Dunn Brothers from 8 am – 2 pm. To sign up, please click here.
FunFeast
Baseball, hotdogs, apple pie, and…FunFeast? Yes, food is an important part of any Independence Day celebration, so that’s why we’ve created FunFest – a brand new initiative aimed at satisfying your appetite for excellent Eagan restaurant food and gift cards! Simply dine at any participating Eagan restaurant July 1 – 12, snap a photo of your food, and post it on social media using #Funfest2021. A total of 12 winners will be randomly selected and awarded with gift cards. Plus, one grand prize winner will be selected and richly rewarded with $250 in Eagan restaurant gift cards. Kids Bike Parade
Decorate a bike and help kick off Funfest with our annual Kid’s Bike Parade on Saturday, July 3! All ages are welcome. Arrive early to touch up those decorations and line up! The parade start time is 3 pm in front of the Eagan Rotary Band Shell. The parade will follow the path behind the band shell around the pond and end as the kids make the full loop. Make your bike standout. Our Funfest Ambassadors will be on hand to help out. Crafts and treats will also be available!

History
Eagan’s July 4th Funfest has been occurring annually for over 50 years. Beginning as a small group of children riding around town on decorated bicycles, the event has grown into a two day event with live bands, rides, lots of food, a parade, and a fireworks show that attracts more that 100,000.
