Imagine three 9-hole courses plowed out on Lake Minnetonka, Wayzata Bay, over 1,700 golfers with their hockey sticks and golf clubs hitting and putting tennis balls while enjoying free food, give-a-ways, prizes and costumes! Yep, that’s the one and only – Wayzata Chilly Open; the largest, most well known and unusual golf tournament held on a frozen lake. The Chilly Open celebrates its 35th year of golf, food, festivities and fun out on frozen Lake Minnetonka. And that’s not all! Don’t miss out on the Chili Cook-off, Snowga (Yoga) Class, Snowkiting, the 19th Hole Tent, and so much more!
