Join us on a guided journey through Latinx dance and culture! This interactive, fun-filled exploration features excerpts of the Ballet Hispánico repertoire narrated by their artistic leadership. Music, cultural connections, choreography insights, and history come together to deepen the students’ experience of dance. They are introduced to world-class choreographers and cultural contexts while learning about Latinx icons such as Celia Cruz and Tito Puente. The event includes a live dance session and a Q&A with trained teaching artists.

Welcome to winter on the Gunflint Trail. Cross country skiing is one of the #1 activities on the Gunflint Trail in winter. Trail reports are updated weekly once the season begins, typically mid-November – April.
Lutsen and Tofte feature 153.2KMs of groomed cross-country ski trails on several different trail systems. Sugarbush Ski Trail Association, Norpine Ski Trail Association, Cascade River State Park, and Lutsen Mountains.

Returning for its 137th year, the Winter Carnival is St. Paul’s annual winter celebration that shows the world we know how to party. Attracting over 100,000 visitors to St. Paul, the carnival fills downtown with winter buzz. From Rice Park, the Landmark Center to the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, the area becomes a wonderland of fun winter activities.
Most events are free, open to the public, and will take place in downtown Saint Paul, near Rice Park and Landmark Center, as well as at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds.
The 2023 Multi-Block Ice Carving Competition starts Thursday, January 26th at 7 pm and ends Saturday, January 28th at 7 pm.
