The Canadian Pacific Holiday (Food-Bank) Train Arrives at Union Depot – St. Paul, MN

Dec 10, 2022 | people/passions

The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will stop at Union Depot on Monday, December 12th for a FREE musical performance. Canadian Pacific is committed to raising awareness about filling community food shelves with heart-healthy foods.
The CP Holiday Train is North America’s longest rolling food bank fundraiser and since it started in 1999, the program has raised close to $15.8 million and 4.5 million pounds of food. Over the three weeks of the program, musicians will play more than 150 concerts from a boxcar turned into a traveling stage. The concerts are free, but you are encouraged to bring a donation for our local food shelf partner — either a non-perishable food item or a cash donation. Everyone’s contributions will directly assist those in need in our community.

Schedule of events:

Monday, December 12th, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Come to Union Depot early from 5-6:45 PM for VIP lounge, free hot chocolate, family activities, shopping, model trains and more! The train will arrive at approximately 6:45 PM with a welcome by Commissioner Ortega, followed by performances by Alan Doyle & Kelly Prescott!

VIP Ticket holders will be granted access to a preferred viewing area closest to the stage, a VIP warming lounge inside Union Depot prior to the event and more!

Information on how to access this area will be included in the confirmation email you will receive after you purchase your tickets.

Purchase a VIP Ticket for hot chocolate bar and warming lounge prior to the show plus reserved section closest to the stage. All VIP ticket funds will be donated to our local community food shelf partner.
