The evening will include bites by David Fhima, photo-ops, and an opportunity to purchase fashion from dead-stock, sustainable brand Citizen-T created by artist Stephanie Dillon.
The Citizen-T project is dedicated to the reuse of dead stock tee shirts, giving them a new life and purpose. Through innovative design and sustainability, we aim to make a profound impact on the fashion industry and reduce our environmental footprint. In a linear economy, the project aims to provoke profound emotion in creators and challenge them to take a more sustainable approach.
This year we have decided to kick off fashion week with a carbon conscious event in hopes that it will inspire other creators, producers and artists to think about their environmental impact throughout the week. We’re taking a stand against fast fashion and waste generation, join us as we interrogate disposability and stand up for the planet. It’s going to take all of us to make a difference.
