Alexander marries her MCAD degrees in film and photography with her love of sustainable fashion to source items with unique charm, quality craftsmanship, and timeless appeal. As far as the shop’s assortment and “edge?” We can expect to see a a continuation of what Alexander was known for with Goodshop Badshop—’80s, ’90s, and early 2000s American sportswear—like ’90s Polo Ralph Lauren, J. Crew, and Nautica—unisex styles, natural fabrics, and strong basics like button downs, linen, and denim.
“We are excited to open our doors to the Minneapolis community and share our passion for vintage,” says Alexander. “Our goal is to create a welcoming space where people can find rare, high-quality pieces and connect with others who appreciate the beauty and history of vintage items.”
In addition to curating and selling a selection of vintage goods, the duo is dedicated to fostering a sense of community and promoting eco-friendly fashion and lifestyle by hosting a series of creative workshops and events exploring topics around sustainability—like slow fashion practices and up-cycling tips and tricks.
For the shop’s grand opening event on August 2nd, Alexander and Schwartz hosted another local vintage darling, Jahna Peloquin of Rosella Vintage, for a collaborative pop-up.
