About the author
It is my profound honor to document and share the true stories of little-known, everyday American soldiers and airmen who risked their lives for our freedom. My first book, “Fighting for Delphine,” and its sequel, “Return to Fenetrange,” were borne of intriguing conversations with WWII veteran Ken Krueger. Shortly before my father, Neal, passed, he read Ken’s memoir and hinted that I should delve into his own Korean War narrative–containing a secret he had never revealed during his 83 years. “Waiting in the Wings” fulfills a promise to my father to expose the truth and help make the “Forgotten War” remembered. I am a retired educator who lives in Minnesota with my husband and son. We are blessed with three other adult children, their spouses, and eight grandchildren. Book profits support the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Mercy Ships, Samaritan’s Purse, and the Shepherds Foundation.
